Drywall Repair and Patching in Barrie

Fresh paint hides nothing. Old anchor holes, the dent behind a door, a split corner, screws that have pushed out, tape that has let go and the brown ring from an old leak will all read straight through a new coat unless they are dealt with first.

We patch small and mid-sized holes, re-tape seams, repair corner bead and reset fasteners. Water marks are sealed with a stain-blocking primer once the leak itself has been fixed. Each patch is feathered wide and sanded so the edge cannot be seen, and textured surfaces are matched as closely as possible.

These repairs are part of the prep on every painting job we do. We also come out for repairs on their own.

Usually. A flat wall is the simplest. With texture we can normally get close enough that the repair is hard to find.
Will I see the patch once it is painted?+
You should not, provided it is feathered and primed. We normally repaint the full wall, corner to corner, because a spot of new paint can flash.
Do you deal with water damage?+
After the leak has been repaired, yes: we cut out ruined drywall, seal the staining and repaint. Plumbing and roofing are not our trade.
Is a small repair on its own worth calling about?+
Yes, we do them. It tends to be better value to have repairs done along with painting.
How long before a patch can be painted?+
Compound goes on in several coats and each has to dry, so allow a day or two.
